It's a rough start

Well, I have been back to school for about 3 weeks now. Every semester seems to be a brand new challenge. I went back to school 3 years ago to get my bachelor's degree. So many times I have wondered if I am doing the right thing. Or, if this is the right time. One week before my classes started, my oldest son started high school. My only girl started kindergarten and my "little guy" is at a new baby sitter's. I am pulling my hair out already. Because I am older (and I guess a little wiser), I have tried to make good decisions where my classes are concerned. Like, I don't skip just because the weather may be nice. But I've already missed 1 full day and I know I will miss another because I have an obligation coming up. It is just really stressful because I know attendance is important. For a long time, I would discuss my stresses with family, friends and members of my church. Everyone I spoke with told me not to give up, keep going. Most of the time, that is exactly what I needed to hear because I have often thought of quitting. But now I am down to just one year left and no matter what, I can tell myself now "I am not giving up". I am so close to being done and I am going to press no matter what obstacles, until I am holding that degree in my hand. If there are other mom's struggling to finish school I would like to hear from you. Or, if there's a woman out there that is debating on returning to school, perhaps I can encourage you. It has definitely not been easy but If I can do it, I know there is another woman out there that needs to hear that she CAN too!
